Do you want to walk in the shoes of a Torrance Police Officer? Join our next Partners in Policing Class starting October 9, 2014!
"Partners In Policing" is a 12 week Community Awareness Program that educates the community by allowing them to "walk in the shoes of an officer," and experience hands-on exercises relating to the duties, services, and responsibilities of policing. Participants will meet officers from SWAT, the K-9 Detail, the Gang Detail, the Forensic Identification Detail, and interact with a variety of officers from other details within the Department. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend.
Class begins Thursday, October 9, 2014 and ends January 15, 2014. Participants will meet at the Torrance Police Department on Thursday nights from 6-8:30PM. We will not have class on Holidays.
