#019 Theft from Vehicle
A retired law enforcement officer left his loaded firearm in his vehicle.  Sometime between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, an unknown suspect took the gun from center console.   There were no sign of forced entry and the victim is not sure if vehicle was locked.  Officer Magna investigating. 
 
#025 Petty Theft
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Officer Ramsey was dispatched to a citizen holding suspect at Target and arrested a 55 year old adult male for petty theft with a prior.
 
#036 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest
At approximately 4:20 p.m., Officer Ramsey was dispatched to the Teen Center at Central Park on the  report of a male sitting in his vehicle and staring at the playground.  When officers arrived, the subject left the vehicle and attempted to hide.  The 63 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was found and arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
 
#039 Robbery
At approximately 5:20 p.m., Officer Lobue was dispatched to a report of a robbery at the Union 76 gas station at the Hub (4190 Mowry Ave).  The reporting party stated that the store had just been robbed of a suspect in possession of a knife.   When the robbery failed the suspect fled scene in his vehicle, but not before the clerk chased after him and broke the back window of the vehicle with his hand causing a laceration.  The clerk was able to get the license plate and the suspect was tracked to his residence.  The 29 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was contacted, positively identified and arrested at his front door.  Det. Rodriguez and Det. Austin were called in to assist in the investigation.
 
#040 and #041 Theft Arrests
At approximately 6:15 p.m., Officer Francisco was dispatched to the area of Civic Center Dr. and Walnut Ave due to the fact that Raleys’ loss prevention officers were in foot pursuit of a theft suspect.  The suspect, a 29 year old adult male, Oakland resident, was caught and arrested for petty theft.  When Officer Francisco returned to Raleys, he also arrested a 42 year old adult female, Fremont resident, for petty theft with a prior.    The two incidents were not associated.
 
#048 Public Intoxication Arrest
At approximately 9:25 p.m., Officer Ramsey was in the area of Capitol Ave and Hasting Ave.  He could hear a male voice yelling and screaming.  Officer Ramsey circled the area and located a male sitting down on the sidewalk in the area of the 39000 block of Hastings.   The male admitted that he had drank a bottle of vodka, which was laying on the ground near him.  Officers felt that the male was too intoxicated to care for himself, so the 51 year old was arrested for public intoxication and booked into Santa Rita.
 
#006 Drunk in Public
Officer Hartman contacted two 24 year old adult men in the area of T Bar Court and Boscell Rd.   The two were walking down the street from the Saddle Rack.  Both were arrested for public intoxication.
 
#001 Resisting Arrest/Drunk in Public
Officer’s responded to Goodrich Way on a report of two drunken subjects creating a disturbance.  Upon contact, a 37 year old adult male became combative.  Officers arrested the male for resisting arrest.  A  35 year old adult male was arrested for public intoxication.  Investigated by Officer’s Chahouati and Soper.

#014 Resisting Arrest
Officer Weber and FTO Kindorf made a traffic stop on bicyclists.  During the stop a 53 year old adult male, Oakland resident, failed to comply with commands and was arrested for resisting arrest.
 
#029 Warrant Arrest
Officer Zargham conducted a traffic stop at Motel 6 north and cited/arrested a 39 year old adult male for an outstanding warrant.
 
#032 Warrant Arrest
Officer Zargham conducted a traffic stop at Motel 6 north and arrested a 57 year old adult female for an outstanding warrant.
 
#028 Commercial Burglary
At approximately 4:05 p.m., Officer Stillitano responded to a theft call at Fry’s and arrested a 23 year old adult male for burglary.
 
#035 Public Intoxication Arrest
At approximately 7:00 p.m., Officer Lobue was dispatched to a trespassing call at America’s Tires on the 3800 block of Beacon Ave and arrested a 43 year old adult male for being drunk in public.
 
#038 Warrant Arrest
Officer Morrison was dispatched to a person down call at the Main Post Office on Dusterberry Way.  Officer Morrison contacted a 47 year old adult male and arrested him for multiple outstanding warrants.
 
#041 Driving while Unlicensed
Officer Luevano stopped a 19 year old adult male near Hansen/Dusterberry and arrested him for driving while unlicensed.
 
#043 Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Officer Stillitano initiated a traffic stop at the west end of Automall Pkwy and arrested an 18 year old adult male for possession of a sap baton.
 
#045 Strong Arm Robbery
At approximately 10:50 p.m., a 16-year old male juvenile was accosted at the skate park by three unknown male suspects and relieved of his cell phone and wallet.  The victim stated that he lost consciousness and the suspects were gone when he woke up.   The victim received treatment at a local hospital for his injuries.  The suspects were described as being approximately 18-19 years old.  Investigated by Officer O’neal and FTO Romley.  
 
#003 DUI Crash
At 12:45 a.m., an intoxicated driver collided with three parked cars on Lake Mead Dr.  A 22 year old adult female was arrested and had to be restrained due to her level of violent intoxication.  Her male passenger was so intoxicated he too needed to be medically cleared.  A McNeely warrant was needed to secure a blood draw.  Investigated by Officer Harvey with an assist from Officer Nordseth.
 
#004 DUI Crash
At approximately 2:00 a.m., an intoxicated driver rear ended a vehicle stopped at a red light near Fremont/Eggers.  Despite the high speed impact, none of the occupants in the victim vehicle sustained significant injuries.  The driver, a 22 year old adult male was medically cleared prior to booking but did not consent to a blood draw.  Officer Gourley investigated and drafted the second McNeely warrant of the night.  The male was booked into Santa Rita.  Officer Chahouati assisted with the collision portion of the case.

Community:
The Niles Antique Faire was well attended.  Additional police resources were needed to assist with incidents at the event as well as to manage the dispersal of patrons and vendors at the end of the day. 
 
Parking:
CSO Goralczyk conducted FMC parking enforcement in the Stanford/Vineyard area of Mission Peak, both Sat. and Sun., which resulted in the issuance of 28 citations.  
 
#013 Public Intoxication
Officer Weber and FTO Ceniceros contacted an adult male at Mowry Ave./Fremont Bl. and noted he was extremely intoxicated.  Officer Weber arrested the male and booked him at Santa Rita.
 
#032 and #033 Public Intoxication Arrests
At approximately 5:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to a battery in the parking lot of the Smoking Pig Restaurant and caught up to the combatants near Allegro Music.  Officer Romley arrested a 43 year adult male for being drunk in public and placed him on a probation hold due to it being the second time he was arrested for the same charge in two days.  Officer Romley also arrested a 25 year old adult male for being drunk in public and for an outstanding warrant.  Officer Collins arrested a 38 year old adult male for being drunk in public.
 
#034 and #035 Possession of Concentrated Cannabis Arrest
At approximately 5:55 p.m., Officer Taylor was dispatched to a residence where a 25 year old adult male was brandishing a knife at his family members.  After speaking with everyone at the house, Officer Taylor was not able to determine if a brandishing actually occurred.  However, when the male was searched he had hash oil in one of his pockets.  Officer Taylor arrested the male for possession of concentrated cannabis.
 
#003 Warrant Arrest
At approximately 2:45 a.m., Officer Hartman conducted a bicycle stop at Mission and Warm Springs.  He contacted a 29 year old adult male and arrested him for his felony drug warrant.

#024 Residential Burglary
Officers responded to Ring Ct., to investigate a residential burglary.  The victim had been gone all day. The unknown suspect entered through a window.  The loss was unknown at the time officers responded to take the report.  Case investigated by CSO Oliveira.
 
#026 Injury Collision 
At approximately 6:10 p.m., a single vehicle collided into the curb on Driscoll Rd.  The reporting party said the driver was having a medical episode.  Apparently the driver had a reaction to smoking marijuana and taking other medication. Traffic Officers Tran and Spear handled the investigation.   
 
#029 Suspicious Circumstances
Officers responded to a huge fight on Robin St. at approximately 8:40 p.m. with multiple neighbors reporting people in the street and a subject armed with a stick.  Multiple officers responded.   In the end, all parties were on scene, no injuries, no prosecution and case taken for info only.
 
#031 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest 
Officer Greenberg-Bobbitt stopped a 59 year old adult male near Fremont and Bonde because he was hiding in between trash dumpsters.  He was eventually arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and taken to Santa Rita.
 
#032 Warrant Arrest 
Officer Taylor stopped a 54 year old adult male near Roberts and Washington.  He was found to have an active misdemeanor arrest warrant.  He was cited in the field and released.
 
#001 Warrant Arrest
Officer Torrico stopped a 26 year old adult male near Fremont and Ferry.  He arrested the male for an active misdemeanor warrant.
 
#033 Armed Robbery 
At approximately 10:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Walgreens located near Fremont and Decoto.  The unknown suspect passed a note to the cashier claiming that he had a gun and demanded money.  The clerk gave the suspect cash and the suspect left the store.  The suspect was described as possibly being a middle eastern male, approximately 25 years of age, 5'10", 190 pounds, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, tan shorts and he covered his face with a bandanna.  No gun was actually seen and the suspect fled on foot towards Decoto Road.  Officer Madsen is investigating and Officer Perry assisted with the video surveillance evidence.
