Can you help Amarillo Crime Stoppers identify the person that took a television set that was a raffle prize from the Civic Center today? Today at about noon, Amarillo Crime Stoppers was setting up for tomorrow’s annual car show/fundraiser in the Amarillo Civic Center. A Samsung brand 46 inch flat screen LED television was in the hallway just outside the entry door on the north side of the exhibit hall. When ACS personnel were ready to move the set into the venue, they realized it was gone. A review of the video tape showed a young WM with short dark hair, a goatee, wearing what appears to be a light blue or gray short sleeved shirt and khaki colored shorts, walking away with the television in one hand and the box in the other. He appears to be about 5’11”, around 170 pounds. He had been seen prowling in the hallway and looking through the door into the exhibit hall before the television was stolen. Amarillo Crime Stoppers is seeking assistance in identifying this man. If you recognized the man in this photo, please call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. Crime Stoppers tipsters remain anonymous and can earn a cash reward.
