Kristopher Jones, reported missing Aug. 22, has been located and has been in touch with his family. Thanks for your help finding him.

Police are looking for Kristopher Jones, a 26-year-old black male. He was last seen leaving his home near 112th and Oak about 10 p.m. Aug. 16. He left on foot, carrying a black backpack. He has mental health issues for which he needs medication. His family said that he has left before but has never been gone this long. He likes to walk around south Kansas City and Leawood, Kan.

Kristopher is about 6 feet to 6-feet-3 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has black hair that is styled in shoulder-length braids. He also has a mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and either gray or black sweatpants.
