Deal Police Department investigates serious motor vehicle crash.

At 10:42 pm August 31, 2014 Officers were dispatched to Ocean Avenue at the intersection of Euclid Avenue in the Village of Loch Arbor for a report of a pedestrian struck. Patrol Officers Jon Losquadro, Dan Lokerson, and Dave Talty responded and found a 59 year old Toms River woman had been struck by a taxi cab and sustained serious injuries. Emergency crews from the Allenhurst First Aid Squad along with MONOC Paramedics treated and transported the woman to the regional trauma center at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. The victim, whose name is currently being withheld, suffered multiple fractures and a head injury but is expected to survive. A cooperative investigation is underway by Detective Christopher Guy and Patrolman Dan Lokerson of the Deal Police Department in conjunction with crash experts from the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART).
