The Clayton County Sheriff's Office Cobra Unit has apprehended William Chester Duncan 08/24/1970 after a high speed pursuit travelling over 30 miles at speeds of over 100 mph. Duncan fled the scene of a traffic stop while operating a stolen vehicle and was ultimately apprehended after he wrecked the vehicle on W. Paces Ferry in Cobb County. Duncan has been transported to the Clayton County Jail and charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Vehicle, Fleeing and Eluding Police, Obstruction of an Officer, Battery on an Officer and Reckless Driving. The arrest of Duncan marked the 1000th arrest by the Sheriff's Office Cobra Unit since January 01, 2014.
