Loma Linda-Deputies save a man's life by using CPR.
On Friday, August 29, 2014 at 12:04 P.M., deputies from Central Sheriff's Station assigned to Loman Linda received a call from residents at the location stating a male was not breathing and did not have a pulse. Deputy R. Cook and Deputy A. Duncan arrived at the scene within three minutes from receiving the call and began CPR on the male. Loma Linda Fire Department arrived at the location and assisted with CPR. Deputies Cook and Duncan were able to continue CPR on the male until paramedics arrived to transport the male to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Before the male was transported to the hospital, deputies and fire personnel were able to locate a pulse, and the male began to breath on his own. The male was transported to the hospital by AMR and he recovered with no complications.
