Police were called to Walmart – Rouzerville Commons, 12751 Washington Township for a retail theft that occurred on Sunday August 10, 2014. Walmart Associates discovered that 2 display model laptops had been stolen from the display shelf. Upon review of the stores security footage, it has been revealed that at approximately 05:27 hours, a white male driving a silver Audi arrived at the parking lot, entered the store and proceeded to the electronics department where he then cut the security lanyard on the laptop and slides the laptop down the front of his shorts. He then leaves the store without paying for the laptop.
On that same date the male returns to the store at approximately 06:23 hours with a female, this time they are driving a red Volkswagen. They enter the store, proceed to the electronics department where the male selects another laptop from the display, cuts the security lanyard and conceals the laptop in his shorts. They both leave the store without paying for merchandise.
Washington Township Police have charged MICHAEL RUBINO, 30, 111 River St, Apt. 2, Wilkes Barre, PA with Felony Retail theft for stealing two Acer Laptops valued at $946.00.
