Full Notification

The Janesville Police Department is investigating the theft of two vehicles in the southeast part of the city. The first vehicle was taken in the 1100 block of Tyler and is a maroon 1997 Saturn SL1 with WI registration 194VYY. The second was taken in the 800 block of S. Fremont and is a faded red 1993 Ford Tempo WI registration of 694UBZ. Neither vehicle has been located. In both cases the keys were left in the vehicle and the doors unlocked. We are cautioning citizens to remove keys and other valuables from vehicles and secure all doors. If anyone locates theses vehicles or has information on their theft call Rock County dispatch at 757-2244, the Janesville Police Department at 755-3100, or Crimestoppers at 756-3636.
