This Wednesday morning, the Sausalito Police Department continued its back-to-school safety tradition of posting uniformed officers at the various crossing points leading into the Willow Creek Academy. As in previous years, police saw excited children eager to get to school intermixing with parents attempting to find parking. We ask the parents dropping off their children at school, as well as the residents in the surroundings areas, to please drive with caution at the start and end of the school day. Children may cross without looking both ways or make unexpected movements into the roadway.

The Sausalito Police Department is committed to making sure your children arrive and leave school in a safe manner. Please encourage your children to stop by and meet one of our officers in the morning. We will be in the area from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday mornings.
