Additional details on Robbery at Wells Fargo.

UPDATE:   Witnesses originally reported the suspect was a long sleeved black or dark colored shirt and dark colored shorts or pants, however after reviewing the video tape; the suspect was wearing a long sleeve white shirt. The suspect did hand a note to the teller demanding money and implied that he had a weapon. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left out the south doors of the bank. The suspect is only described as being a B/M in his 20’s or 30’s. APD Detectives and local FBI agents are continuing the investigation.

ORIGINAL NIXLE RELEASE FROM 2:45 PM: The APD is investigating a 2:14 PM bank robbery at the Wells Fargo at 1838 S. Georgia. The suspect presented a note and no weapon was seen. APD robbery investigators report that the suspect was a black male, wearing dark clothing. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hat with gold stars on it a gold bill. He ran out the south door of the bank. He possibly ran west from there. No one was injured.
