Rough Surf Management Plan in effect for the Borough of Sea Girt Beaches and adjacent ocean waters until further notice. 
Please be advised, due to hurricane Cristobal hundreds of miles off our coast, rip currents are currently extremely dangerous. These rip current conditions will worsen over the next 24 hours. If you are planning on attending the beach please listen and obey all lifeguards. Under this rough surf management plan, the Beach Manager/ and or Lifeguard Supervisor has the authority to close any areas to bathing, surfing or kayaking. During the rough surf management plan, it is essential no one should enter the water on any unprotected (lifeguarded) beach.
