Sheriffs Investigate Officer Involved Shooting in Victorville After Federal Agents Serve a Search Warrant

LOCATION: 12500 block of Sunny Vista Ave., Victorville
SUSPECT: Arnulfo Hernandez, 34, Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at approximately 5:30 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a residence in the 12500 block of Sunny Vista Avenue, in Victorville, following the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies learned that agents from the U.S. Department of Justice - Alcohol Tobacco and Firearm (ATF), U.S. Department of Homeland Security and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were serving a search warrant at that location when an officer involved shooting occurred.
During the shooting, Arnulfo Hernandez was shot and transported to a local hospital. He was listed in stable condition.
