Update – Police Investigate Shooting

On August 25, 2014, Detectives served two separate search warrants in connection with Friday’s shooting at residences linked to the shooting suspects.

Detectives located evidence connecting the suspects to the shooting at homes in the 1300 block of Robin Street and the 100 block of North Santa Rita Street.

The suspects in this case are connected to a San Jose area Norteno criminal street gang.

22-year-old Adrian Aldama, Ramiro Hidalgo Flores, 28, Xavier Flores, 26, Shondi Carrilo, 37, all of Los Banos were arrested Friday, charged with attempted murder, felony child endangerment, conspiracy and gang enhancements. They remain in custody in lieu of $605,000.00 bail.

The 29-year-old victim was treated and released from Memorial Hospital Los Banos. The 18-year-old victim remains in stable condition at a Modesto area hospital.

**Original Press Release - August 22, 2014**

On August 22, 2014 at approximately 5:23 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Santa Rita Street for a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

A second victim, 29, turned up at Memorial Hospital - Los Banos, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The 18-year-old victim was flown by helicopter to a Modesto area hospital where he is undergoing surgery.

The suspects were spotted by Officer Mane Leao as they fled the area immediately following the shooting. Officers initiated a “high risk stop” and the suspects were taken into custody without incident.
