HARRIS COUNTY, TX – In anticipation of October’s National Night Out celebrations across Harris County, the HCSO invites you to an exciting family friendly event: Nextdoor Night Out!

Nextdoor is the private social network for you, your neighbors and your community. It's the easiest way for you and your neighbors to talk online and stay informed about your community. And it's free. Thousands of neighborhoods are already using Nextdoor to build happier, safer communities.

In January, the Sheriff’s Office introduced Nextdoor to Harris County, and continues to use the free social networking site to keep the citizens of Harris County safe and well informed.

Nextdoor Night Out is your opportunity to meet HCSO representatives, register your community for National Night Out, and learn more about the many ways in which the Sheriff’s Office keeps Houston and Harris County Safe!

Some of the many participating groups include: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Military Liaison Unit, Mounted Patrol, K-9, Harris County 911, HCSO Explorers and Citizen's Police Academy Alumni, LifeFlight, HEB, AARP Texas, Lemonade Day Houston, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and many more!

Nextdoor Night Out is open to all families across the Houston Metropolitan Area!
