A fire hydrant was damaged in the area of Lyndon & Inkster Road causing discolored water. Situation being fixed. 
Earlier today a vehicle accident in the area of Lyndon & Inkster Road caused damage to a fire hydrant. The damage resulted in some residents observing dirty water from their faucet.
Teams are working to address the problem as we speak. We estimate repairs may take several hours. The Livonia DPW has suggested that residents should run their faucets periodically until the water runs clear. There is no Boil Water alert for this issue.
