Troopers Arrest Two Impaired Drivers during Saturation Patrol
“Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”
Vanderburgh County – Between 11:00 last night and 2:00 this morning, Indiana State Police conducted a saturation patrol targeting dangerous and impaired drivers. During the three-hour period, troopers issued 9 tickets, 27 warnings and arrested two impaired drivers. Indiana State Police along with numerous other law enforcement agencies are participating in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” campaign through Labor Day.
Arrested and Charges:
• Scott J. Williams, 24, Youngstown, OH
1. Driving While Intoxicated (BAC .10%)
• Dakota L. Banks, 26, Evansville, IN
1. Driving While Intoxicated with a Prior DUI Conviction (BAC .14%)
Williams and Banks are currently being held without bond in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
