UPDATE - Pomona Police's Major Accident Investigation Team was investigating a traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with investigators. Our investigation is ongoing.
We continue to encourage pedestrians and drivers to be highly aware of their surroundings and make safety their priority.

Officers are investigating a traffic collision at Garey Ave and Tenth St and have Garey Avenue closed in both directions from Ninth Street to Eleventh Street. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes. This closure will be in effect for approximately 4-5 hours.
