Lt. Erick Bohannon - Special Crimes Unit
On October 20, 2010, Mark Travis Burkett, Jr. was reported missing to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation, it was learned Mark might have been in Amarillo at the time of his disappearance. Due to the information received, the Special Crimes Unit opened a missing person case. After following up on many tips, Mark has not been found.
Mark goes by the nickname of Bubba. Tomorrow, August 23, will be Mark’s 24th birthday. The Special Crimes Unit asks anyone with information about Mark’s disappearance to contact us at 378-9468 or call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
