On August 21, 2014 at approximately 4:45 P.M., Burlington Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of South Willard St. and Beech St. Preliminary investigation revealed that a truck travelling north on South Willard St. swerved to the right to avoid a vehicle that was backing out of a driveway. The operator of the truck then corrected to the left and then right again before rolling over onto its side. The truck sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported and alcohol/drugs were not a factor. Anybody with information regarding the accident is asked to call Officer Thomas Chenette at (802) 540-2271.
