Acting on a tip, Carson Sheriff’s Station narcotics detectives served a search warrant at a warehouse located in the 19500 block of South Broadway in the unincorporated area of Gardena.      

Inside of the location, detectives discovered a sophisticated illegal marijuana cultivation operation complete with lighting and an indoor irrigation system. 

Approximately 600 mature marijuana plants, 1300 young plants, and numerous bags of harvested and dried marijuana worth a potential street value of 1 million dollars was seized.  

 No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
