On 8-21-2014, at 9:32 AM, officers were sent to a home in the 1000 block of S. Pryor on a traffic accident. Officers found that the accident had happened in the driveway of the home. The driver, Jesus Suarez HM 22, was backing out of the driveway in his 2004 Dodge pickup. The pedestrian victim, Jesus G. Suarez HM 77 of the same residence, had been out mowing the lawn. The driver did not notice the man behind him until he felt the vehicle strike him. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from injuries received in the collision. The Justice of the Peace has ordered an autopsy, and the Traffic Investigations Squad is continuing their investigation. No one has been arrested.
