Elder Abuse 
On Wednesday August 20th, at 11:00 pm, Suspect Sean Mooney, 24, out of Morgan Hill was arrested in Gilroy for elder abuse on an 85 year old victim. Suspect Mooney was living with the elderly male at the Terracina Apartments on the 200 block of East Dunne Ave, when the victim was assaulted after he confronted Suspect Mooney about stealing money for narcotics. Suspect Mooney fled the apartment after the assault, leaving the elderly male on the ground suffering from his injuries. The victim is currently in a local hospital recovering from his injuries. Suspect Mooney was later transported to the Santa Clara County Jail and booked.
