Drug Arrest

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Officer Michael Galvin and Dean Schoch
ACCUSED: John Rosario age 24 Long Branch, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On 8/18/14 at approximately 10:30 pm, officers from the Township of Ocean Police Department responded to a residence on Wickapecko Drive in reference to two suspicious persons observed on the caller’s property.
As officers arrived they located one of the trespassers identified as John Rosario. Mr. Rosario was uncooperative with the officers and was placed under arrest by Officer Schoch for obstructing a police investigation and taken to Ocean Police headquarters. While at police headquarters officers found that Mr. Rosario was in possession crack cocaine and two crack pipes.
Mr. Rosario was charged with Obstructing the Administration of Law, Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on complaint summonses to appear at a future court hearing
