Highland- Two Suspects in Custody for Vehicle Theft, Narcotics and Possession of Burglary Tools

LOCATION: Boulder Avenue/ Greenspot Road, City of Highland
SUSPECT(S): Randall Gruber, 36, Loma Linda
Morgan Killion, 21, Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On Thursday August 21, 2014 at 1:56 AM, deputies from the Highland Station spotted a stolen vehicle on Boulder Avenue south of Greenspot Road in the City of Highland. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the driver, Gruber, and the passenger, Killion, into custody. During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered 18 grams of methamphetamine, a syringe and several shaved keys used to break into vehicles. Gruber was arrested for grand theft auto, possession of stolen property and transportation of narcotics. Killion was arrested for transportation of narcotics and burglary tools. Gruber and Killion were booked at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
