SUSPECTS: Joseph Alan Waters, 37 years old, Fairfield resident
CHARGES: 664/459P.C. Attempted burglary- felony 647(h)P.C. Prowling- misdemeanor 466P.C. Possession of burglary tools- misdemeanor Outstanding arrest warrants
LOCATION: 3000 block of Cypress Drive, Petaluma
SUMMARY: Petaluma police officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 3000 block of Cypress Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a rear door had been attempted to be forced open. While searching the area, officers heard someone moving through the bushes to the rear of the property. Waters was contacted while trying to conceal himself within the bushes. Waters was in possession of burglary tools. Waters had three outstanding arrest warrants out of Solano County. Waters was arrested for attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools, prowling and his arrest warrants. Waters was later booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
