(HOUSTON, TX) - HCSO homicide investigators are looking for 32 year-old Gilbert Salas for the murder of a man last month in north Harris County. They're hoping the public can help locate him.

On Monday, July 7, 2014 at approximately 5:50 a.m., deputies responded to unknown medical emergency at the Carter Academy located at 3111 Fallbrook Dr.

An employee with the school had discovered an unresponsive man when arriving for work.

When deputies arrived to the scene they found the body of Jorge Gallardo, 20. He'd been shot and killed.

The investigation later revealed that Gilbert Salas shot Gallardo after they argued while drinking at a residence owned by Salas’s sister.
After the shooting, Salas dumped the victim’s body in the school parking lot.

Salas' current location is unknown.
