Traffic Crash in Jefferson Twp


Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 8-19-2014 at 1629 hours, his office was called to an unknown injury crash on North Shore Dr, near Cardavaant Dr. in Jefferson Township Cass County Michigan. 16 yr old Edwardsburg resident, Joshua House, was travelling North on North Shore Dr. when he lost control of his vehicle, running off the road into the swamp and overturning and unknown numebr of times. Mr. House is not believed to be wearing his seat belt and without the use of this restraint he was ejected during this rollover crash. His passenger, 16 yr old Edwardsburg resident Broadryck Masten, was also injured in this crash but is believed to be wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. This case remains underinvestigation.
