Janesville Police Seek Public's Help in Locating a Dog Involved in a Bite Incident

The Janesville Police Department is looking for help from the public reference a stray dog bite. On 8-18-14 around 2:30 pm a citizen in the area of W. Racine St and Park Av was bitten by a stray dog. The dog is described as a light tan pit bull with no collar. The dog has white on its face and a white left front paw and unclipped ears. The dog was last seen running in a north east direction towards the 400 block of Johnson St. If anyone owns or locates a dog matching this description please call Janesville Police Department at 608-755-3100.
