Scott Chandler, City Engineer for the City of Jackson, has approved and extended, the temporary road closure of one-lane and the sidewalk of Main Street (in front of the Courthouse) from Highland Avenue to Liberty Street, to begin on Monday, August 25, 2014, at 6:00 a.m. through Friday, September 5, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. The extended closure is to bring in heavy equipment & complete repairs to the statue on the courthouse lawn.
