Full Notification

OSBI released information Sunday regarding an investigating into Saturday's death of a female inmate at the Oklahoma County jail. The inmate's name was not released at that time since next of kin had not been located and notified of the death. Next of kin has recently been notified of Rita Hyatt's death. Hyatt (d.o.b. 2-20-1954) was booked into the jail August 1, 2014, for possession of a control dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The medical examiner will preform an autopsy. However, foul play is not suspected.
