The High Point Volunteer Fire Company is hosting its annual Dog Day Road Race fundraiser, tomorrow morning at 7:30am. The runners will begin the race promptly at 9:30am with the sound of the fire siren. Please be advised that there is no parking allowed on West 80th street. We ask that you remove your vehicles tonight from West 80th Street to avoid any issues in the morning. Beginning at 830am until about noon, traffic will be limited to one lane southbound on Long Beach Boulevard from 85th to Union Avenue. The following streets will have delayed or limited vehicular access during the race: West 81st, West 80th, Buckingham Avenue, West Essex, Harvest Avenue, Camden Avenue, Cedars Avenue, Salem Avenue, South Holly Avenue and Union Avenue.
