***UPDATE*** Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station Traffic Advisory- Traffic Collision on Malibu Canyon Causes Signal Lights Out Along PCH

Narrative:

***UPDATE*** Malibu Canyon expected to be closed for at least the next 12 hours.

Signals out along PCH at Crosscreek, Webb Way, Malibu Pier and the 22300 blk.

***UPDATE*** Malibu Canyon is closed indefinitely. Please chose alternate routes and avoid this area.  Signal lights out at most intersections along PCH between Malibu Canyon and Coastline.

Edison and Caltrans should be arriving shortly.

Original Message:

Deputies are on scene at a traffic collision on Malibu Canyon Road, 2 miles north of PCH. A vehicle struck a power pole and the power pole is blocking lanes.

The southbound lanes at Malibu Canyon/Mulholland Dr are closed.

The northbound lanes at Malibu Canyon/Seaver Dr are closed.

Several power outages have occurred due to the traffic collision. The signal lights are out at PCH/Coastline Dr.

Signal lights are also out along PCH in front of the Malibu Pier.

Expect major traffic delays in Malibu.
