Plymouth Residents Arrested for Manufacturing Meth

Yesterday morning a seven month investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police Criminal Interdiction Team garnered the arrest of two Plymouth residents.

The investigation that began in February started after troopers received a tip from the Marshall County Probation Department. The information suggested that methamphetamine was possibly being used and manufactured at the home located at 901 W. Harrison St. in Plymouth. The state police investigations lead officers to obtain a search warrant for the house. Wednesday morning ISP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members served the search warrant. During the execution of the warrant, items indicating manufacturing and methamphetamine use were located in the Harrison Street home.

Present in the house were Justin Felix 30, of Plymouth and Stephanie Whitesell 24, of Plymouth. It was apparent to police that both individuals were involved with methamphetamine manufacturing at that residence.

Whitesell and Felix were both arrested for methamphetamine related charges and taken to the Marshall County Jail. A 2-year old boy and 4-year old girl were also located in the home. Both children were removed from the home and are currently being cared for by the Department of Child Services. The Plymouth Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the case.

*All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
