No Injuries When Plane Runs Off Runway
Greenwood, IN- Yesterday afternoon at approximately 3:35 p.m., Indiana State Police troopers responded to 799 East County Line Road at the Greenwood Municipal Airport to the report of a plane crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Roger Law, 45, of Greenwood landed an Eclipse Jet Model EA 500 airplane at the airport and ran off the end of the runway due to the right landing gear brakes failure.
The left wing fuselage chamber struck a runway marker which caused a small fuel leak. The plane did not catch fire and no injuries were reported.
