On April 25th 2014 the Chittenden Unit for Investigations began an investigation into alleged acts of Hazing that had occurred on the Milton High School Football team during the 2011 and 2012 football seasons. The investigation began as a result of information that had been recently reported to the VT Dept. of Children and Families.
Following a lengthy and extensive investigation, the following five individuals have been cited to appear in Chittenden Superior court to answer to the charge of Simple Assault.
William Jenkins- 18 years old from Milton cited to appear Aug 14th
Colby Darling- 18 years old from Milton cited to appear Aug 19th
Brian Lasell – 19 years old from Milton cited to appear Aug 19th
Brandon Beliveau – 20 years old from Milton cited to appear Aug 19th
Ryan Carlson - 20 years old from Milton cited to appear Aug 26th
This case is still under investigation. No other information about this case is available at this time.
8/13/2014 UPDATE:
All the arraignments in the Milton Football case have been scheduled for August 19th. Originally we reported that one was scheduled for tomorrow (aug 14th) but that has been changed.
