UPDATE – 6:30 PM – Sheriff’s officials are monitoring the safety at the fairgrounds and the weather conditions. Over 8,000 fair-goers were safely evacuated from the fairgrounds starting at about 4:15 pm. Campers who are at the fairgrounds please shelter in place inside your RVs/campers. Fair staff and sheriff’s officials are remaining at the fairgrounds to assist you. Please remain calm.
