1 injured in crash

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 8-9-2014 at 1120 hrs. his office was called to investigate an injury crash on Marcellus hwy near Glenwood Rd in Wayne Township, Cass County Michigan. 55 yr old Edwardsburg resident, John Janasiak, was riding East bound on Marcellus hwy, when he failed to properly negotiate a curve, running off the roadway, losing control, and downing his motorcycle. Ambulance personel treated and transported Mr. Janasiak to Bronson Hospital for further treatment. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, and Mr. Janasiak was not wearing a helmet. This case remains under investigation.
