Nashville (Brown County) On Thursday, just before 4 pm, Trooper Chris Griggs stopped a car for a traffic violation on State Road 46 just East of Nashville. During the course of the stop, reasonable suspicion was developed and Trooper Griggs requested assistance from Nashville Officer Tim True and his K9 “Biker”.
A positive alert was given by the K9 and a search of the vehicle revealed over 30 grams of Marijuana, Heroin, Paraphernalia, Alprazolam (Xanax) tablets and over 100 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms. There were also items thought to be drug related found in the vehicle that were unknown and are being sent to the Indiana State Police Lab for identification. Those items were found in the form of crisp rice sticky treats, brownies and more (see photo).
