Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station- Meet Your Captain

Title: Introducing Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station Captain

Narrative:

The Malibu/Lost Hills Station is proud to formally introduce to you, Captain Patrick Davoren.  A 31 year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Davoren was promoted and assigned to the Lost Hills Station in 2013.  Captain Davoren is a great fit for this station, and after starting his career at the Old Malibu Station and returning as a Lieutenant and now as Captain, he is familiar with the area and the needs of the community within.

Captain Davoren's career with the Sheriff's Department began in 1981 as an intern at the Old Malibu Station where he worked in the Detective Bureau as an administrative aide.  After graduating from the Sheriff's Training Academy as a Deputy Sheriff, he was assigned to Men's Central Jail, Lynwood Station and West Hollywood Station.  Captain Davoren then spent the next ten years at Special Enforcement Bureau as a member of the Special Weapons Team.  He promoted to sergeant in 2000 and was assigned to Compton Station, Narcotics Bureau and Financial/Fiscal Administration.  In 2005, Captain Davoren promoted to Lieutenant and was assigned to Compton Station, Malibu Station, Men's Central Jail and Narcotics Bureau.  In 2011, Davoren was assigned as a Chief's Aide for Detective Division, where he remained until promoting to Captain in 2013.

Captain Davoren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and also attended the Executive Management School at Cornell University.  He currently lives in Ventura County with his wife and their children.  Davoren takes pride in his relationships with his employees and members of the community, and attends many area events in an attempt to connect with local residents.  Don't forget to introduce yourself if you happen to see him at your next function.
