Pedestrian Fataly struck on the EB I-10 at State Street. Seeking hit-and-run suspect. 
On August 07, 2014, at approximately 1:44 am, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Central Los Angeles Area, received a call of an animal on the roadway on I-10 E/B (San Bernardino Freeway) north of the Mission Road on ramp. A CHP unit responded and observed a body laying on the right shoulder on I-10 E/B (San Bernardino Freeway) west of State Street. Upon further inspection by the on-scene Officer, it was determined the pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle and succumbed to his injuries. Identity of the victim is witheld pending notification of kin.
