Pembroke Sewer Dept. will be conducting a survey of the sanitary sewer system. A non-toxic smoke will be blown into the sewer mains to locate breaks and defects in the sewer system. The smoke is non-toxic,harmless, and creates NO fire hazard. if you have any seldom used drains, pour water into the drain to fill the trap. The test should begin on Aug. 5th and require four days of field work(Aug. 6,11, and 12, 2014). if you observe smoke in your home, please call 911. Thank you.
