Synopsis: Department of Justice Investigators requested San Diego Police assistance on 3800 Sipes Lane. They had located an AMBER alert vehicle from the Santa Barbara area. Further investigation lead officers to a mobile home park where the possibly armed suspect was believed to be . SWAT and Emergency Negotiators were called. The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. The 6 month old child was rescued, unharmed. The suspect was booked on warrant charges relating to the Santa Barbara kidnapping.
