On 8/4/14 at 1724 hours, officers of the Green Bay Police Department were dispatched to a possible hostage situation at 1512 Plymouth Ln. Officers later deemed the situation a disturbance involving a knife believed to be based on a retaliation. 4 parties were arrested, and another 2 were referred to the DA’s office on criminal charges. 4 Subjects on scene suffered minor injuries. Prior to officers arrival one suspect dispersed a fire extinguisher inside the apartment complex hallway. 4 police officers were exposed to the chemicals from the extinguisher and treated at a local hospital but later released to return to work. Based on the fact that there were chemicals from the extinguisher in the complex at 1512 Plymouth Lane, Green Bay Fire Department had the apartment complex evacuated, tenants were assisted with placement for the night by Red Cross until the complex was properly cleaned.
