The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department West Valley Search and Rescue Team is Seeking Volunteers to Join Their Team

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s West Valley Search and Rescue Team is recruiting for new members to join their team.
West Valley is a non-profit, all volunteer search and rescue team dedicated to saving lives by providing search and rescue operations and wilderness safety education to the citizens of San Bernardino County.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be a legal resident of the United States, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. All candidates must pass a physical exam, an oral interview and a Sheriff’s Department background check.
All training will be provided at no cost to prospective team members. Team members do, however, purchase their own personal equipment.
