City crews are presently on site preparing for the emergency water main repair on Main Street. The portion of Main Street that runs from Walnut Street to River Street will be open to local traffic ONLY.
Motorists should avoid the portion of Main Street that runs from River Street to Indigo Hill Road as it has been closed to all traffic.
The work is expected to last until 5:00 p.m. While it is anticipated that water service will be interrupted, it is not yet known when or for how long. Residents are advised to monitor Channel 22, the snow line (692-9131), and/or the City's website (www.somersworth.com) for more information about any water service interruption.
