Levi’s® Stadium in the City of Santa Clara is hosting an Earthquakes Soccer game today Saturday, August 2 at 7:30pm. In addition, Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View will be hosting the Bone Bash concert at 7:00pm. The combination of these two events may impact traffic in the north area of Sunnyvale. Expect traffic for the Shoreline concert to start at around 4:00pm.

For the Levi’s Stadium event, the Sunnyvale Dept. of Public Safety anticipates heavy traffic and delays in the area of Lawrence Expressway between Hwy 101 and Hwy. 237 in Sunnyvale. Expect increased traffic starting around 3:30pm and at the conclusion of the event estimated to be 9:45pm.

Sunnyvale DPS will have extra patrol and parking enforcement staff working during the Levi’s Stadium event. This staff is designated for the Sunnyvale area to assist with any traffic flow or event generated situations. The Stadium Authority will serve as the first point of contact to the public for stadium operations issues (e.g. parking, traffic, noise, etc.). The traffic plan will include controls at the following intersections in Sunnyvale: Lawrence Expressway/Lakehaven, Lawrence Expressway/Tasman and Tasman and Birchwood. At the conclusion of the event Wildwood at Sandia will be closed to stadium traffic.
