Troopers Arrest Five Impaired Drivers Overnight
Late last night and early this morning, Indiana State Police conducted a saturation patrol targeting impaired drivers in Posey, Pike and Gibson Counties. During a five-hour period, troopers located and arrested five impaired drivers.
Arrested in Posey County for Driving While Intoxicated:
• Phillip Clark, 23, Mt. Vernon, IN
• Velda Chase, 58, Evansville, IN
• Carl Caldemeyer, 50, Wadesville, IN
Arrested in Pike County for Driving While Intoxicated:
• Jordan Powell, 23, Otwell, IN
Arrested in Gibson County for Driving While Intoxicated:
• Delton Gooch, 42, Princeton, IN
Arresting Officers: Trooper Korey Mauck, Trooper John Davis, Trooper Paul Stolz and
Trooper Brandon Deig
The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
