National Night Out 2014 in Patterson

Patterson, CA – Patterson Police Services is pleased to announce that they will once again be participating in the annual ‘National Night Out’ event. This year the event will be held during the evening hours of Tuesday, August 5th, 2014.


Among those in attendance will be: Patterson Police Services (including Motor Units and K-9 “Joker”), Patterson Fire Department/West Stanislaus County Fire Protection District and Patterson District Ambulance.


Community members are encouraged to come out and meet the above participants. They will be making stops in local neighborhoods at the below locations:

6:00 PM – 250 E. Las Palmas Ave.

6:30 PM – H.O.S.T. House 405 S. 4th St.

7:00 PM – Felipe Garza Park N. Hartley/Loreli Ln.

7:30 PM – Family Christian Center 18 S. 6th St.

8:00 PM – Aprigold Park Hackney St/Pinto Wy.

8:30 PM – 1233 Yellow Hammer Dr.


Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, cities, towns and neighborhoods celebrate National Night Out with a variety of events and activities such as ‘block parties’.


The National Night Out campaign involves emergency service and law enforcement agencies, civic groups, neighborhood organizations, local government officials, local businesses and citizens throughout our community for the purpose of:

-Heightening crime and drug prevention awareness

-Generating support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs such as Neighborhood Watch

-Strengthening neighborhood spirits and police-community partnerships

-Sending a message to criminals letting them know that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
