2014 Aug 1 – The Port Jervis Police Department is currently investigating threats at multiple bank locations within the city and are working closely with the FBI and various local agencies in resolving these threats. It is believed that these threats are related to threats that have been made in the past few days at other locations in the Tri-State area. The Port Jervis Police Department believes that this is only a threat but asks for the general public to be vigilant in if you “see something, say something” and call the City of Port Jervis Police Department at (845) 856-5101.
